North Shore Head Start


Program Description:

North Shore Head Start is a comprehensive child development program for low income families with children three and four years old living in Beverly, Boxford, Danvers, Middleton, Peabody, Salem, Wenham and Topsfield. NSHS offers a wide array of services to children and families that include education, health, social services, nutrition, and parent involvement. Services are available for children in both full and partial days.

Public or Referral: 

Contact the Admissions Supervisor. Families must meet the federal poverty guidelines, unless the child has special needs, as defined by Chapter 766. Full day services are offered to children eligible to receive vouchers from the Department of Transitional Assistance or Department of Children and Families



Take Route 128 to Route 114W. At the third set of lights, take a left onto Cross Street. North Shore Lincoln Mercury is on the corner. Go to the top of the hill and there is a sign that says 30 Cross Street on the right. Take the driveway and we are located on the second floor in Suite 201.
